Description ln the tirst part of this paper, definition of pertinent notions are introduced. The second and third parts deal with related types of domains, including new generic TLDs with focus on ".vin" and ".wine" domains, and mechanisms of domain name disputes. The most important conclusion resulting out of those sections is that unlike dispute resolution rules in .8U and .cz TLDs, the UDRP does not allow the entitled persons to base their claims against conflicting domain names on protected appellations of origin or geographical indications. Therefore, in the final part, recommendations for such persons are provided for the purpose of securing their rights against unlawful registrants of colliding domain names.
