| Description | Some authors say that religion and psychology are areas which define themselves; others say that they partially cover each other. The goal of this article is to present results of our research of the attitudes of psychology students to Christianity. Two open questions for perceived positives and negatives were put to 88 students of Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. The answers were analyzed by Grounded theory. Common categories from the answers were created. Then the frequency of these answers was counted. The most common positives of Christianity were the community, the offer of the sense of the life and the leading to the help for others. The most common negatives were the dogmatic thinking, the manipulation and the rejection of one’s responsibility. The results were compared by sex, personality and the intensity of identification to Christianity. |
