| Description | Development of narrative competence resides in the development of a several different cognitive modules: module for the syntagmatical division of narrative space (to use different connective types: addition, temporal or causative), cohesion module (use of anaphors) and narrative coherence module (ability to build the plot). The activity of individual cognitive modules can be empirically studied. |
