| Description | The paper presents an evaluation of chipped stone assemblages from the immediate vicinity of the town of Kadaň (Chomutov District). It is accompanyed with a list of isolated finds of ground stone industry including their petrographic determination. These data are complemented by evidence for Ancient and Early Aeneolithic occupation further upstream the Ohře River. One of the main objectives of the paper was to expand knowledge about the little studied use of Tušimice-type quartzites in the Aeneolithic of the Kadaň region, in the western vicinity of their outcrops. |
