| Description | Assessment of projects and policies on the environment is one of the most relevant mani-festations of application of the principles of environmental law. Basic local government units – municipalities are included among other subjects, which are integrated into this important process. The aim of this paper is to highlight the fundamental aspects of community involvement in this process, to comment on aspects of community participa-tion and outline the nature of municipal potential to influence the outcome of these pro-cesses, all the relevant environmental consequences, a reflection of the new legislation in comparison with the regulation in effect before 01.04.2015. |
