Description | Altogether 193 species of bryophytes (40 liverworts and 153 mosses with additional 3 infraspecific taxa) were recorded during the course of excursions to the sandstone region of the Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj) in northeastern Bohemia. Among the recorded species, one Endangered (Anastrophyllum michauxii), three Vulnerable (Calliergon giganteum, Dicranella subulata and Hamatocaulis vernicosus), nine Near-Threatened and two Data Deficient species need to be highlighted. Anastrophyllum michauxii, Endogemma caespiticia, Dicranella subulata, Orthotrichum affine var. bohemicum and Tetrodontium brownianum are considered the regionally most important records. |
