Description | Central Europe is in a unique situation in terms of geopolitics. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, the border systems gradually changed and also greatly differentiated. The full permeability of borders provided by the Schengen Treaty now allows free movement of persons, goods, capital and services, information. To what extent out of the outlined development benefited the border areas, respectively. can we talk about a single border region? Changes have also brought negative outcomes, so the perception of Schengen is not clearly reflected in the frontier population. |
