Description | The purpose of this anthropometric research, which took place in Moravian high schools between 2015-2017, was to examine the relationship between body height, body composition (measured via bioelectric impedance on the device InBody 720) and some aspects of lifestyle (surveyed via a questionnaire). The target group was high school students aged 17-20 years, from a full range of secondary schools. The research specifically focused on factors that correlated most strongly with body weight and obesity prevalence, which may potentially have very important implications for the preparation of nutritional recommendations in the school catering system. |
