Description | The study is an analysis of the passively resisting attitudes used in the editorials of Lidové noviny in the first half of the existence of the Protectorate. These are the texts of long-time authors of Lidové noviny, who fundamentally influenced the political and social line of the letter, and also shaped the moral dimension of his view of occupation at a time when at least in part socially mobilized the will of the Czech public through national self-preservation through the existing mass media. In a broader sense, the paper presents a contribution to the question of the extent to which, under the conditions of occupation, it is possible to use the legally emerging printed media to publicly pronounce at least disguised resistance to existing conditions. |
