Description | The principles of evidence have their widest application in the trial at the first instance court, which is the so-called essence of criminal proceedings. They aim to establish the facts without any reasonable doubt, which is one of the objectives of the criminal process. Their importance is therefore essential and not negligible. The author of submitted contribution has an ambition to analyze the individual principles of evidence and their significance. She will also focus on controversial issues of their application in modern criminal proceedings. The author does not miss her own attitude towards the possibilities of application in the new Criminal Procedural Code. |
