| Description | As part of the inventory campaign, pre-industrial landscapes (PreIL) were mapped in the territory of the historical Moravia – as a territory with a similar land use structure as before 1850. For these purposes a special methodical approach was developed in two variants: on-line and off-line using publicly available data on map servers and appropriate SW resources. The procedure is demonstrated on the example of the selected region of Moravia.The results of the GIS assissted inventory are documented together with the classification of the idenfied PreIL segments according to the quantitative and qualitative criteria. The results will then enable the competent authorities and affected municipalities to implement measures for their optimal management in the future. |
