| Description | History of Brickworks in Popovice and Blučina after 1945. This study of the defunct brickworks draws primarily on the archival sources from the years 1949–1957 or 1974 stored in the State District Archive in Brno-venkov, based in Rajhrad, mainly on a component fund A 7 ONV Židlochovice (Brickworks in 1949-1957 with informations about Popovice, Blučina or Holasice), JAF 297 MNV v Popovicích (The bickwork in 1949–1974) and JAF 221 MNV Blučina (The new bickwork in 1970–1974). An important source of data is the preserved post-war correspondence between institutions (District National Committee in Židlochovice/Hustopeče, Provincial National Committee in Brno, the Local National Committee, etc.), supplemented by study of period photographs, plans and maps. |
