| Description | The aim of the paper is to present the application of empirical models USLE, RUSLE and USPED and to present a methodical procedure of application of a physically-based EROSION-3D model on selected basins within the Slovak Republic. The created methodical application explains not only the relationships between the individual equations but mainly it provide a fundamental tool for the application EROSION-3D model and interpretation of modelled results by end users. The methodology consists of two scheme, i.e. the first one describes theoretical explanation of the processes in the model and the second one contains theoretical explanations through equations. The important part of the study includes also the method for determining the amount of sediment in small water reservoir. |
