Description | The paper presents Jan Patočka as one of the possible guides from the world of shadows to the real world, based on the claim that the important Czech philosopher can be considered as a representative of the so-called "spiritual people". Patočka's guidance can be traced in his texts, including texts related to his pedagogical activities, but can also be combined with his pedagogical missions. The author of the text deals with the problem of the integration of Jan Patočka into a group of intellectuals with a similar way of thinking, but also social engagement in his research. The basic method used in this text is the analytical method directed at the to Patočka's texts on Heraclitus, Socrates, Plato and Aristotle (texts in support of his teaching, including teaching at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, 1946-1948). The selection of personalities from the circle of ancient philosophers who correspond to Patočka's definition of spiritual people (including the Patočka criteria), as well as the integration of Jan Patočka into a group of spiritual people, is original. |
