| Description | The objective of this article is to present the results of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of finite and temporal infinitive clauses in European (EP) and Brazilian Portuguese (BP). The work has two main parts. The first part, based on a qualitative study, aims to analyse the nuances that exist between the finite forms in the subjuntive and the infinitive forms, and the second, based on a quantitative methodology, aims to study the preferences by simple or compound forms of the infinitive in PE and PB. |
