| Description | The morpheme-based approach allows an analysis of both morphophonological and morphosyntactical properties of nominalizations, which predicts (i) the interpretation of stem-nominalizations as nouns with the complex event reading and interpretation of root-nominalizations as names with the (simple) event reading, (ii) the easier access of root-nominalizations to their interpretation as result names. |
