| Description | The analysis shows that the subject clauses are really Subject (occupying the Spec, TP) and they are nominalized phrases (CP within the DP). Subject free relatives are generated as the DP, while subject complementiser clauses are generated as CP and they receive only the DP-shell as a last resort. |
