Description | The contribution comes with preliminary results of research on how disinformation (misinformation) on internet manipulate with our minds. Research is based on experimental design testing different target groups, which are given under influence of manipulated information. Different manipulative techniques of propaganda are used. Their strength and impact are tested. The vulnerable target groups in society are going to be identified. Also, in the context of digital age, the consequences in one`s social behaviour are discussed. The research is based on theories of cognitive dissonance and cognitive bias, which say that individuals have inner drive to hold all attitudes and behaviour in harmony and they often do mistake in reasoning occurring as a result of holding beliefs regardless of contrary information. |
