Description | Since humanity´s earliest history, the fastenning of clothing has been addressed in a wide variety of ways: lances, belts, hooks and pins. One noteworthy constant across Europe, though, has been the use of metal fasteners in a sharp-shape, found primarily in the Baltic area, Scandinavia and Germany. In the czech lands, such fasteners were traditionally used in Chod region, or areas around the border towns Cheb, Broumov or Těšín. |
