Description | Eye tracking has recently become a favorite tool used in the research of autistic kids' visual strategies. Since the discussion in this field is still open, it is very important to analyze possible causes of mixed results. In our text we describe some extraneous variables that might occur during the data collection and which are linked to the specificity of the participant group - children with autism. The aim of the text is to suggest some ideas on how to minimalize the influence of extraneous variables without compromising on participants' comfort. |
