Description This work is focused on monitoring the rate of promotion of small mammals, especially rodents, pathogenic microorganisms that cause zoonotic disease Lyme borreliosis. Small mammals play a role in the so-called reservoir animal, which causes the disease not only to spread, but also to multiply, so it becomes a far more dangerous infectious agent spreader than a vector. Lyme borreliosis is one of the most common zoonotic infectious diseases that can cause multiple organ damage in humans. It is for these reasons that it is important to continuously monitor the occurrence of these and other agents. On these samples we used 2 methods. The first method was the indirect sandwich immunoassay ELISA and the second PCR method. The results showed a significant increase in the promotion rate of small mammals compared to the results obtained from 2014 and up to 3.4 ×.
