| Description | The text introduces one of the didactic drama methods, the so-called live pictures as an intentional way of instrumentalising the pupil´s experience and simultaneously as an implicit way of fulfilling Goodman´s theoretical construct “expression“. We use specific teaching situations to show the examples of exemplification and denotation, more detailed attention is paid to the expression in the particular components of the pupil´s subjective experience (authentification): constructive, thematic, empathetic and experiential. Our approach is based on Yin´s concept of analysis of the didactic case studies and our aim is to support the proposal of an extended conception of Goodman´s theoretical construct “expression“. |
