Description | Drawing on the evidence presented in this volume we turn to the crucial question: How can policies to integrate young people in the labour market be improved? We argue that the needs and capabilities of young people should be more in centre of the interventions and their involvement in policy making. This implies the paradigm shift from the work-first approach towards human resource development approach and job quality focus. Similarly, structural governance/institutional reforms are needed. |
