| Description | The author focuses on the problematics of the basis of a right to complete a blank bill of exchange in the paper. First he deals with the contractual process (negotiation) through which the content of the right is defined, then he deals with the content of that right itself – he concludes that the content of the right to complete a blank bill of exchange determines how the blank bill of exchange should be completed. The paper includes consideration of whether a right to complete a blank bill of exchange can be created while the content of which is not expressly declared, which is usually the case when the agreement on the grant of the right is concluded implicitly. The author concludes that the right to complete a blank bill of exchange whose content was not contractually defined is not vague, as a result of which nothing hinders its creation. If the content of the right is not contracted, it is determined by the cause of the bill of exchange or by the cause of the obligation arising from the bill of exchange. |
