| Description | The 590-601 Ma age range for the Slavkov Terrane granitoids shows that their formation was coeval with that of the Thaya Terrane. The age of 740 Ma for the Central Basic Belt confirms that they formed much earlier during break-up od Rodinia. The age of the Basal Clastics show that their deposition occured around 550 Ma, i.e., after the main magmatic phase, and that nearly all clastic material was derived from local source. |
