Description | This research investigates the factors that could affect the visitor attendance of a public city building. Specifically, it describes the most common factors and trends affecting visitor attendance of Brno Market building. The study is looking at aspects such as weather and outside temperature, events inside the building, other events in Brno city centre, public holidays, school holidays, day of a week, day of a month, month and precipitations. Data for this study was gathered from a camera system installed in the building of Brno Market specially for needs of this study. This paper provides partial results of the whole study and depicts predictions for the final results. The whole study will be published in May 2019 when longer observation of visitor attendance will be provided. |
