Description | The Křivoklát-Rokycany volcanic complex represents the largest body of Cambrian volcanic rocks in Barrandian area. It is compound of younger rhyolitic part and by older andesitic-dacite part. Supposed feeding linear structure called as Sýkořice Porphyry is situated in the NE and it's built by rocks with diamagnetic minerals while real value of magnetic susceptibility in the complex reaches values in order of magnitudes at least 10-5 SI. Due to limitation by a tectonic faults on this side with the NE-SW direction we know one part of the complex. In the rhyolitic part, a couple of volcanic centers was recognized. |
