| Description | The May Fourth Movement has played a central role in shaping the contemporary China in all respects of the Chinese society including the Chinese language, literature, and thought. With approaching the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, the Confucius Institute of Comenius University in Bratislava, in conjunction with the Department of East Asian Studies of Comenius University in Bratislava, will organize a memorial conference on the May Fourth Movement. The conference is expected to gather scholars from all over the world with four research foci: Modern Chinese, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Modern Chinese Literature and Contemporary Chinese Thought. |
