| Description | The landscape seems to be simply the context of any human live outside of the cities walls. For the pilgrim, however, the landscape is becoming the most important visual and sensory input. With tired bodies, and minds transformed by the long repeated walking, the pilgrim transforms the landscape in a cultural experience. |
