| Description | The workshop will focus on one of the Canterbury Tales and we will explore the story using drama techniques such as creating the characters, freeze frames, a day in the life, improvised conversations, overheard conversations, etc. practising language oral skills. This type of work is particularly beneficial for students with various reading problems as it is based on activities within the story and experiential learning. By the end of the workshop you will have experienced; and will obtain a lesson plan for teaching one of the Canterbury Tales written by Geoffrey Chaucer. |
