Description | This contribution focuses on the conodont biostratigraphy and the chemostratigraphy based on the Famennian (Upper Devonian) changes in the stable carbon isotope (d13C) ratios in carbonates. Chemostratigraphy is a research method used for stratigraphic correlation ratios of stable isotopes of sedimentary rocks. A total of 10 specimens for conodont biostratigraphy were collected from the section in the Marble quarry at Křtiny and 31 samples were collected for d13C analysis. The aim of this contribution was conodont biostratigraphy and classification into biozones and confirmation of the d13C “expansa anomaly” on the profile in Marble quarry near Křtiny. The anomaly was found and compared with other anomaly occurrences from Europe. méně |
