| Description | Eight species new for the area of the Poloniny National Park are presented in this paper. The number of known species from the area increased to 204 and the record of very rare species Panaorus adspersus (Mulsant & Rey, 1852) (Rhyparochromidae) is presented here also. It represents the only second known record of the species in Slovakia after 47 years and only fourth known record of the species in whole Carpathians. No one species from all recorded from the Poloniny NP until now is given in the Red List of Heteroptera of Slovakia (Štepanovičová & Bianchi 2001), but three species presented in this paper (Adelphocoris reichelii (Fieber, 1836), Panaorus adspersus a Megalotomus junceus (Scopoli, 1763)) I suggest to include into red list in the future. A literary review of old records published in Horváth (1886, 1897) and Benedek (1970) is given, however these were overlooked in previous revisions of the heteropteran fauna of Poloniny NP. These records come from 19th century and therefore they are the oldest known records of Heteroptera from the area of Poloniny Mts. |
