Description | The current studies in the Czech Republic show that there are limitations in the conception of leading practical education as well as insufficient and unsystematic participation of experts in the process of educating Czech fencing coaches. The project will map out and compare two education systems: that of Hungary as the typical example of a successful ”fencing super power,“ and that of the current system in Great Britain. The research will also target the issue of educating coaches on the highest levels, describe the role of non-formal or informal educational activities within the process of education, and evaluate the significance of experts in the process of passing down sport and coaching mastery. The methodology will be based on the quantitative and qualitative content analysis of specialized literature respectively and on official and semi-official documents, questionnaire and observation.Based on the findings, theoretical and practical outputs will be proposed to help optimize and improve the educational process (excellence) of Czech fencing coaches within an international context, resulting in a growth in performance of their athletes. |
