| Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of methods, content and forms of primary school teaching in connection with improvement of university education of future primary school teachers. The main aim of this article is to provide topics which can develop the geometric imagination of future elementary school teachers and thus assist their further motivation and enlargement of their mathematical knowledge. There is given a series of remarkable geometric problems chosen from previous years of Czech Mathematical Olympiad in category Z5. All problems are supplemented with solutions and didactic remarks. The article should inspire future elementary school teachers to be more interested in both geometry and Mathematical Olympiad. |
