Description | Ischemic cardiomyopathy is the most frequent cause of the left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction with the heart failure syndrome. Revascularization in patients with coronary artery disease and LV dysfunction has been shown to improve LV function, heart failure symptoms and prognosis. |
