Description | The distribution of rare and threatened pleurocarpous moss Helodium blandowii in Slovakia has been studied. Three new populations have been found in Slovakia. According to these new records, it seems this European red-list candidate and glacial relict expresses some interesting ecological features, such as toxic metal tolerance. We revised its conservation status according to new distributional data, identified potential threats and suggested conservation measures. |
