Description | The paper briefly describes the herbarium information system Jacq used mainly in central European herbaria, mainly in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic. This information system is now used at about 40 public collections and at this moment includes entries for about 1.5 mill. herbarium specimens. Among them, there are about 140 thous. specimens from the Masaryk University Herbarium (BRNU). In September 2019, records of all the catalogued specimens from BRNU were imported into the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) database. |
