| Description | corticosteroids were adminstered in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and dermatologic difficulties first time. Spectrum of diseases treated with steroids is increasing all time. Emergent administration has no contraindications and is life saving frequently. Long term administration brings risks coming from steroids characteristics as a stress hormone. Increase of blood pressure, increase of glycaemia, fluid retention, energy mobilization are effect necessary to manage stress situation. |
