| Description | Mrs. Eva Lustigová, daughter of the Jewish writer Arnošt Lustig who survived the holocaust, and the director Henriette Chardak came to Brno to present in cooperation with the department of French language and literature at the Scala university cinema the film Children of Terezin and the mustache monster on the life of Brno-born Ela Stein-Weissberger. The guests were mainly pupils and students of the Brno schools, but also their teachers and the general public. All commemorated the victims of a minute of silence after the screening of the film. The French department coordinated the projection and the following discussion on the (non) meaning of war and on artistic production in times of terror. |
