| Description | In June 2020, the Criminal Division of the US Department of Justice presented another update to the guideline for evaluation of corporate compliance programs. It contains an amended set of recommendations for the prosecution of companies in connection with the requirement to assess the adequacy or effectiveness of compliance programs by public prosecutors. It supports the need to promote a responsive compliance program. Recently, the emphasis has been put on the collection and analysis of data that can be used to build a compliance program and secure it with adequate resources. The revision of the DOJ in relation to the methodology of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Czech Republic means confirmation of the approach chosen so far and the possibility to adapt better the requirements for the content and structure of assessed areas of compliance management system to trends of internationally recognized practice. |
