Description | Self-evaluation - one of the most recent terms in the field of evaluation in foreign language teaching. In line with the results of many researches, it can with no doubt be argued that teaching through self-evaluation is gaining a new quality in many ways. The aim of the present paper is to explain the relationship between (the development) of learner and teacher autonomy in this context and to present ways how to promote the development of these two autonomies through self-evaluation tools in the area of foreign language teaching. In order to reach this goal, the context of foreign language teaching has recently been extended to the area of teacher training, because this is exactly where the whole learning autonomy development story begins. |
