Description This is a description of Ancient Greek direct objects, preceded by a detailed analysis of the label ‘direct object’, that is, a nuclear constituent of the transitive sentence, namely the second argument of the verb. This argument is involved in a ‘direct’ relationship with the verb, in both morpho-syntactic and semantic terms.
