Description | Social and political changes after the 1989 revolution influenced all spheres of life, thus didn’t avoid education including primary schools. Discussions and trends from the early 90s are interconnected with overall development in Czechoslovakia characterized by spontaneity and enthusiasm, but also by distrust, absence of experiences, and denying of all from the communist era. The project funded by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic “Post-socialist Transformation of Czech Primary Schools – Processes, Stories, Dilemmas” (n. 20-11275S) efforts to process and especially to understand the transformation from the perspective of teachers. In the presentation, the basic methodological concept of research will be introduced and the first results of archive research will be presented. |
