Description | Walking seems to be the simplest act in the world, intrinsically linked to the human being. Walking is also a movement that today's man shares with all the Sapientes Sapientes men who preceded him. But does this activation of the body have an effect on the perception of (medieval) art? Starting from 4900 km of experience, this intervention would like to reflect on the role of the body in understanding medieval (not only) visual culture, with particular attention to art conceived for medieval pilgrims. |
