| Description | The paper was focused on three performances by director Zdeněk Kaloč: Platonov (1970), The Seagull (1975) and Ivanov (1978) and in further extend on his aprroach towards Chekhov's work at the challenging time of normalization. One of the main points of the presentation was major use of elements of epic theatre and gradual increase of importance of acting, which also combined psychlogical and epic acting. |
