| Description | Rapid cognitive decline can originate from a wide range of different pathological states, many of which could be well intervened. Quick diagnostics are appropriate therapy are crucial for final health out-come. The authors offer a basic review of etiologies possibly leading to rapidly progressive dementia. Concurrently they present the concrete case of a geriatric patient with history of repeated collapses and consequent cognitive decline together with probable preexisting neurodegenerative disease. |
