Description | As part of the study of local communication, we focus on building the image of the city shared outwards (to visitors, potential visitors, investors, etc.), but also inwards (to local institutions and residents). Our goal was to analyze as many available local communication tools and their producers as possible to identify key channels, actors and contents of communication. We were interested in all types of communication and messages - from local media through online communication tools to interpersonal communication and static message carriers (for example, signboards and notice boards, street signs, navigation, etc.). We were looking for answers to the questions: Who are the key communication actors in the locality? What are the key communication channels in the locality? How does Telč communicate? How do people communicate about Telč? How do people communicate with Telč? What image does communication products create about Telč? What is the difference between the image offered to visitors and the inhabitants of the city? What city does the tourist see? What kind of resident? What are the sources of this information? What differences can be identified depending on the changing source, channel or audience? |
