Description | This study is an examination of the three colonization plans implemented on the estates of the Olomouc bishopric during the episcopacy of Bishop Bruno von Schauenburg († 1281). Feudal and location charters are used to analyse in turn the settlement of the Slavičín area by Helembert de Turri, the gradual colonization of Fryčovice presided over by Jindřich the reeve and the ‘location’ of the Brňov settlement district entrusted to Mikuláš of Choryně. The main focus of attention is the legal and settlement-organization context. |
