Description | On April 19, a recording of the "updated" Smetana's My Homeland - prepared by six contemporary composers (Petr Kofroň, Marek Piaček, Miloš Štědroň, Pavel Zemek-Novák, Miroslav Tóth, Daniel Forró) will be broadcast on the occasion of the centenary of independent Czechoslovakia. The record, taken in November 2018, will be supplemented by visualizations by Jakub Kořínek. April 20 offers two audiovisual recordings: The Variety of Mauritius Kagel, where BCO joined forces with the artists and jugglers of Circus Legrando, and Fairy Tales from the screen - four cartoons, screened on hand-held projectors with live music. Tuesday, April 21, will bring, among other things, three world premieres from the Orlí Theater - Greetings to Bold Time (Miroslav Tóth), How to Avoid Mental Breakdown (Michal Wróblewski) and However (Pavel Zlámal). There will also be music by Peter Graham and František Chaloupka. |
