Description | Cdk11 is a poorly-characterized cyclin-dependent kinase with described functions in transcription, alternative splicing and 3’end processing of HIV mRNA. Our aim was to better define its cellular roles via identification of its novel interacting partners and candidate substrates. We utilized BioID method and identified proteins implicated in control of gene expression. We utilized also Cdk11 analog-sensitive mutant to test the candidate interacting partners as substrates of Cdk11. |
